Harshness of the light brings out the color but doesn't help with the texture of these.

Wonderful find. I just don't care for the harsh/over blown lighting. The background is poor also. Sorry. I do think the idea is excellent and love the colors.

Topo much light on the foreground and the background is far too busy. Choose the background more carefully, and it will be much better!
