Composition is nice, but the background takes my attention from the kid. I like how the shadow extends diagonally toward the end of the frame. Good choice with the black and white.
You've captured a great moment here. I like the composition, the shadows are great. The child's head is a little blown out, could you have stopped down any to avoid that?
Very good approach of the challenge and very well composed. Just too bad that the brightness of the wall behind the boy is too overwhelming. Despite that, good job!
