 I opened the bedroom curtains and saw the houses across the road being lit by a patch of sunlight. I liked what I saw through the window.

Grabbed the camera and shot 4 with different settings. I liked this one the best. Probably the easiest shot I have done for a challenge.

Did a quick processing job - Cropped to square format, increased contrast, saturated and sharpened.

I love the textures here, especially the bronzy-metallic colors, against the magic blues and blacks..... I also think it has the "WOW" factor.

A very pleasing effect with nice color play. It is often best to avoid any repeated texture but often it is the visual impact that counts. The bottom part is very strong and it loses interest as the color blue takes over into pure texture. A tighter crop, say over the top of the right red oval would have raised the interest more. Of course, this will reduce the color harmony. 7
