well i was on my way home from my friends house, when i picked one up and, protected it all the way home. but no matter how well i kept it safe, it seemed to have been broken.

I'm sorry but I have looked at your shot for a while but can't bring myself to see the broken in your photograph. I see the needles coming loose from the subject but more of a natural thing than broken. Nice macro and focus along with lighting. Wish you the best in the challenge.
