An anhinga caught a fish while I was walking on (what else?) the Anhinga Trail in the Everglades. I started shooting pics right away, but I was disappointed because, of all the natural area around, the anhinga chose to walk to the pavement to eat the fish. The fish was so large that it took a little while for it to handle and reposition the fish in order to be able to swallow it. This allowed me more time to move to get at least some natural background in the picture. When the bird finally got the fish turned head first, it was amazing to see how quickly he downed it.
