 Taken on a hike in the Cederberg Mountains on the west coast of South Africa.
Still the old Fuji S5000, much lighter than the D70!
PS sharpen, crop, saturation on green.

Change the title. Ditch the green around the border. Then you have your image. I really like this--don't distract me!

I am new here and relatively so to serious photography; so, I will offer only my response, not a critique.

This is what I would expect to see in a gallery. Very nice, well executed. I lack only for the ice or snow more visible lower frame. Maybe there was none. Nevertheless, tonal quality consistent with concept and clarity is outstanding. Very enjoyable image.

If not for the green border....I think it would have been much more effective with a thine white or light grey instead. Otherwise, nice shot.

Usually I dont mind borders...but this one takes a little away IMO. Still nice compostion and color contrast on the pic.

I think the green of the border detracts from it. I like the single plant and even the color, but not in the border.
