Put some antique cups and saucers on a mirror, lit up the room with 1000 watts and took heaps of pics. A very nervous wife kept reminding me not to break anything.
Post processing was curves, rotate and crop.

given the nature of your shot with the tea cup in the center this would have worked well to have cropped so that the tea cups at top would have been the same at the bottom. taking the shot from directly above would have also helped the overall appeal. on the other side i do like the concept of your shot
