 Simple propane torch. Took the shot in low light (not pitch dark) to enhance the flame. (My youngest daughter thought it resembled a paint brush - a neat observation I thought).

great shot, just seemed to have something missing that would convey the true temperature of the torch.. Maybe a piece of melting solder would have done the trick.
