This is a picture of our dog taken with my new Canon 10-22mm at a focal length of 10mm. I really love how you can distort images slightly at 10mm and give the viewer an interesting perspective of the subjct.

A cute dog, but the shot has very little photographic merrit to it: focus is not right, the composition is not thought through, and the frame if full of distracting surroundings.
I really want to like this because of that cute little dog. Unfortunately, there is a whole lot of background that is distracting attention away from the little cuty.
