 Maryland's second oldest (and oldest continually operating) lighthouse where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay.

Up at 5AM to drive an hour to capture the sunrise(yawn)...
Adjusted levels, saturated, USM,uploaded.

While I like the result, I'm not sure how it will be received. I hope to return in the future to attempt more shots in different lighting situations.

Hey! You're standing in my personal reserved spot!

And I see you got the crooked horizon comment. I've entered a couple Concord Point shots and gotten them, even the the horizon is straight (notice the trees stright up and down?). I think it's just the lay of the land that gives the illusion.

Nice colors, I love sunrise there. I have gone the last two New Years mornings for the "first light of the year". Weather permitting, I'll do it every year from now on.

Nice composition but looks a little over-sharpened (only because of the distorted tree branches)

If you had moved to your right a few feet, the tree would frame the lighthouse much better.
