The image takes after Gueorgui Pinkhassov: "SOVIET UNION. Russia. Near Moscow. Circa 1980".

-not that this would make any difference to those who had already decided that this entry does not meet the challenge before bothering to find out.

THe grass on either side of the tracks adds a noce bit of detail. I think this really signifies a strong feeling - very lonely.

I think this image, if it is in fact tributed to a photographer, could be a lot better had it been shot in portrait mode as opposed to landscape. However, I believe that this one will score poorly due to the lack of subject and interest.

Part of the fun of the challenge is comparing the photos to the work of the photographers they're paying tribute to. I can't figure out who that would be in this case. This is actually a well executed photo ... probably better than it will score in the voting here. Composition is interesting.
