Taken outside my hotel in Palm Springs today. This photo file was cut and pasted from my camera card onto my laptop. Therefore, I cannot provide the file directly from my camera. However, I have the unedited file on my laptop. This photo was edited using photoshop only to adjust the contrast.

This is among the top twenty or so pictures in this challenge. Therefor it is a pity that it does not meet the challenge: "For the purpose of this challenge, "wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians ..."
This is a great picture, I'm just afraid that this will be voted down because of the size, you should use the 640 pixels that we are allowed to use in challenges.
Given the spirit of the challenge was to capture a shot of wildlife (specifics given that do not include insects) then a photo such as this becomes a DNMC and my voting stradegy comes to an end. Needless to say my vote on this was very low given those circumstances.
