I was undecided as to where submit this picture to. My original idea was to submit it to "Tribute" as a tribute to Frans Lanting, but the later discussions on the forum made me doubt that was a good decision. So here it is ... I hope I don't regret it :-).

Stunning - lovely detail, good backlighting. No idea whether this is taken au naturel as it were, but I'd be nit-picking to mark it down for that - it is a great wildlife photograph. Good luck
I love Crowned Cranes! Lovely lighting really brings out the eye and the crown too. Shallow DOF works well to isolate the bird against the background. Nice detail in the feathers too.
