The bird is beautifully coloured, and I'm sure desperately elusive to photograph. However, I think I would have tried for a good clear shot of something more ordinary as sadly I really can't make much out of this as the bird is too deep into the branches.

So very hard to take pictures of bird in their home territory ... it is a nice shot, just a shame about the obsuring of the branches ... which should be there anyway. Nice pic.

It's difficult to see what we're looking at, the twigs are a bit distracting. Great colours though, I'd love to see a full shot of this bird.
