Too much manipulation for the effect. ( a slight clockwise rotation may have helped as well). An interesting Idea, but the details have been lost.

The focus seems pretty good, but the heavy effect makes it difficult to see, esp. the lower part of the circle. This is an "artsy" shot, so I try to be extra kind, but frankly, I don't really care for this effect (sorry, must be MY bad). 5 Rob the Swash
