Went out ot a series of 5th and 6th century monuments/temples today south of Chennai Madras.
These monkeys were wild ferral monkeys scavenging amongst the rocks.

Nice shot. Too bad some people don't think about how international this site is and make poor assumptions. I really like this shot. Those critters can cause some chaos, I've been told!
Awww, look at his little hands and cute crooked teeth! Monkeys are so cool. The lighting is wonderful and you did a great job with all the detail.
Top score.
Nice tight composition. It's a rather minor detail but I like the blurred leaf in the foreground, seems to give more depth to the photo. The focus seems a little soft on the monkey.
Don't know if this is actually in the wild or not, but it sure looks like it is. Wonderful expression & pose captured - the lighting is terrific. Great job. 9
Given the spirit of the challenge was to capture a shot of wildlife in its natural environment, I find it most difficult to believe that this was done with your entry. Needless to say my vote on this was very low given those circumstances. When a photo does not do its best in composition to depict actual challenge guidelines, my stadegy for voting immediately stops and it becomes a DNMC to me.
