Such a tight crop does not indicate if the bird is living in it's natural environment or in a cage. A looser crop would have been more appropriate as per the challenge description.

Wow, this is a terrific composition, I just wish I could see the detail in the bird. We're just drawn to the head forst and then to the amazing cloak and to not be able to really study it is a shame.

Nice capture of a pose, soft feel of neck feathers. Slightly sharper and brighter levels would help, as overall image feels too dark.
