sparrow in a tree along a nature trail. Used Nikon D70 and 70-300 lense. Wasn't expecting to see him there, and he didn't stay long enough for me to get very many shots. I was happy though, it was my first shot of a bird (that wasn't a goose or a duck) where you could actually see the bird.

Wow, you really had great imagination in capturing this shot. The picture is a bit muddled by the out of focus portions close up, but I still like it. Nice work.
bet that it was a cold day when you captured this, wish you could have captured the whole bird, but it is a nature shot, so do understand, just would have improved this shot IMO
