Shot in JPEg which is unusual for me, but I was shooting around our local marine and inlet and trying to beat the sun from hitting the ridge and killing all this great light (You'll see the ridge in a portfolio shot from the 7th.
This was just one of those summer days when you had to drop everything and go shooting.
I wasn't doing this for a tryptic but as I was editing it I saw that there were three distinct elements to the frame and so decided to try one having never done it before. I cropped it top and bottom to get the shoreline right on thirds and then had to nip a bit off the bow of the boat on the left so everythign fell into the three panels. I tried hard not to do this, but had no choice if I was to keep the three panels equal in size.
