This is incredible! How can this only have a score of 6.416?!? Maybe it looks too perfect and people wondered if it was somehow faked??? I don't know, but this is a pretty amazing photo.

Fantastic capture, absolutely love the stop action, nice details, wonderful DOF, great job-good luck

Your DOF is so tight this looks almost 3D. The birds seem to leap of the screen. Very nice.

Wow! Nice capture, must have been hard to get them in focus :) Got an 8 from me, good luck in the challenge.

how did you get that in focus? nice work!

Wow... Those are hummingbirds right? You caught two of them? And forse their wings? I'm definately impressed. What was your shutter speed at?
Post actions
I wish I could give this an eleven I'm so impressed. The birds look like they are about to fly off the picture and into the house. I almost didn't see them until I scrolled down.

I'd love to see the hummingbirds closer, right now there is a lot of nothing in the photo

you've captured a great moment over here. though I'm not into the nature-photography, this is awesome.

Great capture! I hear these little guys are very hard to photograph-you've done an excellent job catching them mid-flight in perfect focus.

Nice job isolating the hummingbirds. It *looks* like it was done artifically, but if not, cool beans.

Wow! An amazing capture! Nice, sharp, and great composition. All that and how quick you must've been to react to this moment.

Absolutely stunning shot. Unbelieveable focus at this shallow a DOF. Brilliant.

This reminds me of that movie (well, maybe several movies) where they do all that flying around in the air martial arts stuff. I know, that's not really a very helpful comment hey? Oh well, cool shot.

GREAT shot. Wonder if you had the pixels to crop out more of the top and zero in on those incredibly sharp birds. Good one in any case.

Unbelievable clarity on these little beauties! Now THAT's some stop action! WOW... Wonderful crop & composition too.

Excellent. Very crisp pic.

Awesome capture! Great detail on not one, but two, very hard to photograph little birds. The purple flowers are a little distracting to me, but that is just my opinion.
