Pretty much all of the photos I took in 2005 were of bands, which I thought wouldn't fit this challenge too well. I'm shocked at how few photos I took last year that weren't documentary. Here's a photo from a model shoot though, lots of fun. Shame the focus is on the mouth rather than on the eyes. Ah well...

This just shows that beauty can enhance the "face value" of any environment. Who cares if we were just playing a game of pool? This model is a much better mental occupation! Lovely!
Nicely composed and lit, but somehow something just doesn't pop for me. Perhaps if she'd oiled her skin, she'd have more of a sheen that would make this work better as a fashion/modelling type piece.

The lighting is really nice, and the expression is well caught. I do however think there should be a little more breathing space at the top perhaps. Also, the blurred balls in the foreground would look better sharp in my opinion, but still have the background blurred brilliantly as you have done already. 9
The model has a soft and sultry look as she lays upon the pool table. Her poise of hand over the head and parted lips gives off a 'come hither' look. I have two critiques on this piece. I think you could easily strenthen the relation between the model and her environment to 'play' up on the voluptious and sultry mood presented. First had the model wore a shade of red lipstick it would visually tie into the red pool table ball seen here in the photo. The color red is also symbolic of passion and having a connection to those two objects would strengthen the connection that there is a sultry game to be played here. Second , I would have turned the black 8 ball such that the number is very visible to the viewer. This would help strenthen the visual of a game being played.
