I love the colors. Maybe because I am a die hard Denver Broncos fan? Nah, that isn't it. It's just a beautiful shot.

I CAN, but I don't want to. I like the darkness. It's very dark anyway, no direct light at all, but I could pull up more detail if I wanted to, a little bit anyway. I actually have dodged it a fair amount to make the house more visible; anything lighter seems unnatural to me.

BTW it's a sunrise, as it happens.
