I liked this shot. I thought the technicals were excellent. Lighting is nice and bright, but not overexposed. Sharpness is quite excellent. I found the rear bird to be distracting in two ways. A) I don't really like the way he's holding his head (but it's not like you can coach him). B) more importantly, I don't really like that he's not in the DOF. He is just as well lit as the first and commands almost as much space in the frame. I just wish he was a "subject" as well. The soft focus makes his eyes all weird too.

Awesome image. I love the expressions on the birds. The composition really helps accentuate that.

Hilarious title. Anything that makes me giggle when I read this title and saw these lunatics creatures is worth a good score. Well done. 9.

I love this. Must be a ribbon. The bird in the back is a trip. This has to be a ribbon. Fav for me.

I love the expression of the bird in the background. Good job getting your white subjects properly lit with that darker background.

great birds. I would have liked to see the DOF deeper to get both of them in focus

Cool birds! I would have preferred seeing both of them in focus. I like the angle this was shot at - good composition [7]

Never seen these before...they look almost plastic! Love the expressions.

Great expressions on both birds, combined with excellent image quality, elevate this from the 'ho-hum, not another bird shot' syndrome. Great shot!

With the title, the expression of the back bird combined with the stance of the front just make this shot! Amazing DOF!

I find this sooo funny! The expression on the bird in the background is hystrical! Great title too. 9

cute title...

This is nice, but it seems like the focus is on his/her wing, rather than his/her face.

Great color saturation and exposure. Love the title too.

Most of the successful bird shots in this challenge involve two birds. This is one of them. I feel so violated by this picture! Tell them to stop staring! okay, okay, I'll give them a 9.

vivid colors and great expressions on the birds faces

The focus & DOF could not be better and the colors just jump out and throttle the viewer. Perfect!

Pretty good, but IMO needs more DOF to include the background bird's quizzical expression. Love the color and composition!

Oh, the one on the left's facial impression is just too good! Shame he's a bit out of focus, but that's DOF for ya...

These guys sure look funny, love the colors and the whole setup, wonder if you cropped the lower part of the bird in the back, would have been nice to see more of him/her
