An interesting shot. I like the pose and composition. I guess some might find her head looking too big given the wide angle but it doesn't bother me too much. The one thing I don't really care for is the treatment of the grass which looks too painterly-like. If the whole image was like that it wouldn't be a big deal.
This looks to have been smoothed so much that the grass has lost all texture completely, and rockets this shot into the land of make-believe. It's an interesting take on a portrait, but the processing leaves me flat.
This angle of shot makes her head look way larger than the rest of her body giving the shot an almost comical impression. As pretty as she is, as her best friend, it would have been much nicer of you to portray her in a much more flattering angle and composition, IMO.
Technically, this shot needs work also. Her forehead appears to "melt" into her hairline. You also seemed to either oversatuarate or oversharpen (note her tank top is white with green glows.) Lastly, the grass looks smudged, blurry in some spots and almost in focus in others. This photo could be salvaged by cropping out everything up to her head and shoulders, making it an edgy sort of head shot.
Seems like neat image was applied a bit too strongly here, but I like the pose and the effect from using the wide angle lens. The head is a bit close to the top of the frame in my opinion though.
Aah, background! If you could only have her sit half a meter to the back (or two feet, either one) - then you would not have had that unfortunate attention-grabbing transition from the grassy area to the gravel or whatever that is. Nice wide angle shot and nice perspective. Good luck to both of you in the challenge!
I don`t normally like the neatimaged, plastic looking skin but here it makes for a great effect. I may have cloned the grass in all the way to the top. 9
The pose is not very flattering she looks to have a giant head on a little body. Otherwise very nice photo good lighting and color, and an attractive model to boot.
very cool perspective - a 3d effect. I like it. Great job on the skin tones for the most part - the hands look a bit pale though. Your friend should be real happy with this photo you took of her.
Lucy went to tennis lessons in her pajamas...that instructor would indeed notice her now.
I like the sensuality that is present here, however unintended it might have been. The soft look of innocence, but yet...a hint of something else. Nice capture, lovely model.
First thought: I hope she's 18! (I'm sure she is, so that isn't offered as criticism, merely to let you know my gut reaction to the shot.) Unpon further viewing, the lens distorion, combined with the pose (the way she's leaning forward) give the impression of sitting on a toilet - the panties probably further that impression. The softening of the skin is too much for my taste, and the removal/cloning of the wrinkling in her forhead seems off to me. By that I mean both that I can see remnants of the process of removal, and that it seems unnatural with her eyebrows raised like that for there not to be some wrinkling in her forhead.
