I took this pic at a concert of hers early last year.
Added a little vignette to the corners.
I did a little selective color in the blues to make the jpg match the color of its original profile. The lousy save for the web JPG color gamut does no justice to the blue in this photograph.

Colour is awesome, I hope it wasn't just all processed in, but I'm going to assume not. This could have done with a crop, but I'll leave that up to you. 8/10
i get an idea as to what you're after, but this doesn't quite get me there. you might want to look at bob's stuff and check out his gig mentoring thread.
You had better seats than we did. :)
Did you get that w/o a flash?
How wide is the appature?
I have trouble shooting in light in my daughter gym
so much as in the dark with some back lights at a concert.
Good job
Not bad as concert shows go but not really that good either, good enough for most newspapers though I think, nice job on the lighting. However, I really wish I could see more of her face, this shot IMHO needs more power or emotion and here I think the face would have been the key. 6 from me.
Very sharp image and nice composition. I like the saturation levels of the singer's hair. Skin tones look very good for being under stage lights. Good job.
I feel the composition is too centered and the crop isn't quite close enough, but it's a good perforamce shot. Maybe just get in closer and focus more on the face?
