This is a stunning image. The lighting is magnificent and the stillness of the calm water just makes you want to kick back and enjoy the evening. I'm giving it a 10 even though I'd sorta like to see the lights on the mountain (and their reflections) cloned out. Great job!
The street scene reflected in the water is stunning, but the 2005 and the trail of lights is so small that it doesn't really add to the frame, and instead it distracts from the shot. I would have concentrated on the pretty street scene and composed out the 2005.
I would have skipped the mention of 2005 in lights on the mountain and focused on the beautiful reflection of the lighted village on the water. Overall this is a serene and pretty shot.
I get a nice feel from this photo, I like that in the reflection you can even see the line of lights up in the mountains. I think I would have preferred that the horizon be set more on the rule of thirds, but that is only my opinion. Overall nicely done
the '2005' is not legible on the mountain. it really should be, if you're going to make specific reference to it in your title - and since it's not, I think this should have been titled differently.
I like the composition, but would like to see the mountain in the back not so dark. I say this only because the line of lights looks like it comes from nowhere. Maybe try dodging the highlights and midtones
This is once of those shots where you just wish it could be bigger than 640 pixels! I hope you post a larger version somewhere after the challenge, its a really nice shot :)
Lovely shot, good reflection. The only distraction to me is the line of lights on top of the mountain. I understand the 2005, but what are the rest of the lights up there? I kinda think the shot would be prettier without it...but that is just my humble opinion.
When I give a photo a 10, it is because I feel it is wonderfual all the way around. Therefore, I have no real comment other than to say I gave you a 10!
