2 homeless men reading the Jan 1st newspaper on Jan 2nd. "Moses" seemed happy to have his picture taken. I thought it ironic that they were reading day old news. Likely this year brings more of what the past one held.
Very nice photo. The focus is crispy on the right man, but the one on the left is blurred and I would prefer this one on focus also, just an opinion. Composition is very good, and I also like the detail on the paper.
Background is a little lacking for "City Life" - they could be sitting in a Diner at a truck stop in Podunk, Iowa. :-) No apparent street scene, ya know?
Photographically, independent of the challenge, it is a very good photo I think. I would have scored it a 5 or 6.
I like it. Tecnically, I like the grayscale and the DOF.
However, the man on the left seems too aware of the camera, so it doesn't seem as candid as I would prefer, but that's just me.
Also, don't know why, but he struck me as a Santa (a week after Christmas). :)
