The lighting here is too flat; since the subjects are so close in color increasing the contrast between them in some other way is essential.

The focus on this picture could be better, it feels a bit soft and grainy. I think it would have scored higher if it weren't for that.

Nice composition and framing here. IMHO the pink background is too similar to the flower in tonality to really make the contrast 'pop'. Setting this shot up with a higher contrast color may have emphasized the theme more. The lighting also seems a tad harsh on the flower with some shadows and underexposed areas. Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless

Good subject choice and color. Are you shinging a red light on the subject, or just really boosted the saturation? I think the contrast against a pure white background might have worked a little better.

The red needs to be more saturated and perhaps brighter. It seems too much of the same tone with the background.

More detail on the leaves would have made this stronger. Maybe a different type of light to make it more dramatic.
