I love this one - so griity and crisp. That odd teddy bear is just plain weird. I even like the slightly forced composition. Lighting is wonderful - a great example of what can be achieved in imperfect weather, without a stunning landscape or subject of typical beauty. Faved.
This is a great use of some desaturation without pushing it all the way to a black and white image. I find the teady bear a little distracting... I would prefer him either in or out of the shot. (prefer out since he distracts from your yellow). The horizontal lines in your composition add a sense of stability while your vertical lines add strength. That, combinded with a good "rule of thirds" lead to a very nice composition. well done.
This is an amazing shot IMO. I love the contrast in light/shadows, textures, and color. The detail and focus is great. Curious to see your camera and settings when the challenge is over... 8
Is that a teddy bear hanging up there? How strange. I'm having trouble getting past it to see the rest of the shot. Neat shot though, and I love the bright yellows.
I like this alot. Is that a teddy bear tied to the yellow light??? It suits the challenge IMO and I like the dark dim street with the punch of yellow to grab your attention.
