I would put this picture into the 'Favourite of 2005' catagory and not 'Best of 2005'. I am sure that you have technically better picture. That said, his expression is priceless.
please read the tutorial for preparing images for challenges. you have no doubt lost a lot of votes due to your image size. as best i can tell, this would have scored a LOT higher if the image had been larger. don't be discouraged, and DON'T QUIT! better luck next time.
Nice snapshot but not much more. Little of interest to capture my attention and hold it. It's also smaller than the maximum allowed. Don't be afraid to make use of the full 640 pixels, and to use a subject that grabs the attention.
I think this should could have been much better if it used the full 640px size limit. The composition, colours, and expression on the boy's face are really good despite the small size.
