This is a stained glass mosaic that I made in high school; backlit by a flashlight. The overly bright center seems to make it more foreboding.

cool looking - what it this made of? Not much surface detail - texture - focus seems a bit off. But nice glow - which goes with the subject!

Nice idea. Somewhat difficult to confirm backlighting, but close enough. Less central composition would be better. Wish that it were built from obviously bioactive items, like transparent gelcaps or blood-like liquid. I still like it.
