I think a different color background could have helped you out. The snake gets lost in the current background.

You have found an interesting shape, and even more importantly the background is just great. It wouldn't have hurt to wipe the snake clean, though. The lightning is also a bit harsh, looks like built-in flash to me. 8.

Love the idea, might have worked better on a contrasting background, or not. The slight glare on the front of the snake is a wee bit distracting, otherwise great - good luck

The composition doesn't thrill me; also, it would have been good to see the whole of eyes in the "shadow snake".
