Decided to enter the Shapes challenge after all. I got a beautifully-made authentic origami crane, placed it on unfolded origami squares in my light tent and shot from above with the flash. I had to reshoot it at 1/20 sec. to get a better depth of field (previous attempt had head and tail too unsharp). Cropped to square.
Ironic thing is, many months ago when I thought if another Shapes challenge came up, I would like to get a model to sit in a room surrounded by hundreds of origami squares (even tossingthem up in the air).
