I really liked the colors in this and wanted it to have that "painted" look (I'm actually submitting a toned down version) - so it's intentional and perhaps not well received - but I like it a lot and think it may end up being one of my favorite images :)

Nice composition; the lightpost and wretahs brighten up this otherwise wet and gloomy scene. The roads look wet, but there is so much great color and detail you have captured that winter cold holidayesque feel. I took the liberty of running it through ps watercolor; its only in my workshop but I put the link here.
Cool location, I'm not sure you've made the most of it. Perhaps cropping it at the left of the green van and at the bottom of the snow would allow us to see into the area with more detail
I loved the way the streetlamps came out on this one. It was very softly focused, though, which will hurt your score, and the lack of color in the sky will also bring it down. A polarizer would have saturated the sky much better, and reduced the overbright white of the snow. Still, it is a nice composition, and the eye is easily led into the scene by the placement of the steet.
This one made me stop and pause... it looks so familiar. Ahh, yes. The Parker Inn and Proctors Theater. Schenectady, NY! A very nice capture of the city. Good to see a smaller city well represented in this challenge! (And nice to see soemthing familiar too). Good luck!
My initial impression is that this is an awesome "gothian" finish. But then I looked for the story or point of the photo and could not find it. I did see that the photo is a bit blurry and also seems to be tilted to the left. Nice try.
Nice reportage style shot and I also like your composition. Looks like it has been a little overdone on the neatimage or something as it looks kind of smooth or plasticy, but I think that this helps in this instance. It gives the image a kind of chrismas card feel to the photo.
