Many things make this a great image, like the lighting, the decorations and the strong curves, as well as the flashes of movement of the skaters.....

Oh Wow! This is VERY striking and beautiful! Easy 10 for me!

Another Toronto Shot! Well done.

Beautiful photo! Love the movement!

Too busy. I do like the blur of motion with some of the skaters while others are in focus.

Nice job I thought of the same thing 4 weeks ago

Lovely lights and interesting mix of sharp and blurred skaters, nice composition, DOF, and sharpness. Love it.

nice slight motion blur and good exposure of the lights

Toronto ! Nice shot ! (9)

Fantastic lighting & perfect focus. Skaters are just blurred enough to give feeling of movement. The "floating" lights & buildings make for a great background. One of my favorites.

Wow this is a nice pretty shot, great work on the speed.

Great colours and I like the bluf effect to show busy movement while the lights and buildings show the stillness.

Very cool. Nice lights, and I like how it draws your eye to the one guy that is still.

awesome blur. great capture of the lights. very "city-in-the-winter"-like. 7

Really nice. Love the light and motion.

I like the movement and the nice focus on the ornaments, nice!

This shutter speed doesn't really work for me. I'd prefer either a much longer or much slower exposition (with the proper compensation of course). It's also a bit underexposed for my taste. What I really like is the theme itself.

Wow, great exposure! Just enough for some motion and business and didn't overexpose the city lights like so many others!

I like the composition and the sense of motion with the blurred skaters. 7

I'm REALLY diggin' the motion blur, and those blue lights...just really nicely seen.

Wow, simply awesome shot. The ultimate winter city rink shot. Excellent balance and composition. I love the way the lights seem to float. 8

Absolutely gorgeous! The deep, rich tones, the colorful lights, the busy composition, the motion everywhere - all scream a beautiful night of city life. Perfect.

Ooohhh! Very nice. I like the super crips exposure of the lights and the mostly blurred skaters. this is very magical looking. I really like it.

pin sharp with good motion blur

This is one of the few shots that both accurately reflect city life, and is an awesome photo--10!

WOW! I love how you've captured the action without blowing out your highlights (no pun intended).

Love this. To me, being from the South, this typifies winter in NYC. Lovely image and the blue tree really adds to it. Love the movement and the nice perspective!! 9

Nice! I don't think I need to say anymore. You obviously knew what you were doing.
