Wow what a moment you have managed to capture, and all so nicely done. Great focus in a tough situation.

Oh man! What a capture! haha

I can't believe it. You actually got her peeing. What a shot. That was really lucky timeing. Amazing shot.

What are the odds...

Technically amazing and beautiful subjects. Honestly, it would be a better image without the effluent, but I have to give you credit on the timing and it's certainly much funnier as is.

I hope the other voters noticed the small detail that makes this unique.

Is that nectar? In a manner of speaking, I guess. Superb capture. Everything about it is outstanding. Bumping up.

This is one of the best captures of a hummingbird I have seen yet. Wonderful detail, perfect focus, great shot! 10

Okay, I almost missed it. Gave it a 6, but the detail makes this image. 7.

Great clarity but the colours seem a little washed out.
Post actions
You have got to be kidding? Bet you did not know you had this until after you saw it on the big screen. The clarity is perfect and color accurate. Good job.

and natures called was answered ... LOL ... this is funny and well captured.

What sweet little birds these are, very nice capture. Is that what I think it is, if so, no wonder you called it "Natures Calling". Once in a lifetime image here.....

Great shot...Love the shallow DOF.

I really like this image, but what makes it especially good is for the rarity of capturing the bird having a call of nature.
Post actions
Before I saw this, I didn't know that unlike all other birds, hummingbird urine is usually made up of the same clear, yellowish liquid (urea) that mammals produce.
Post actions
tough shot, I need to try this
Post actions
great clarity...color looks slightly off however
Post actions
Great capture - ncie and sharp
Post actions
One in a million shot. That's all I have to say.
Post actions
Great capture. The colours are great.
Post actions
This is a wonderfully well executed picture. All the right pieces are in focus, the composition is great and the colours good.

Wow! It really demonstrates how fast these little fellows move their wings: you got the motion blur on the wings but not on the s**t...
Post actions
That is very funny. What are the odds of getting a hummingbird peeing!! Great shot. I bet you didn't even notice that until you checked in on your computer later

AWESOME!!!! sharp, interesting, and very pretty. I would have added a bit more colour to it and removed the watery stuff underneath the bird:) I wonder what it is. 7 POINTS !!!

Great capture!! I didn't even notice the... umm... leakage, straight away! Haha excellent.
Post actions
I think this is probably the most unique dpc droplet photograph ever.
Post actions
Is that thing peeing? Good catch!!!
Post actions
damn, how did you manage to catch that? Just because of that, 8
Post actions
wow those little critters move fast nicely captured. love the colors - it the little guy peeing? I am not sure if this adds or detracts from the pic? Well shot none the less 8
Post actions
A slight more contrast to bring out the orange trumpet vine and greens and you get a blue.
Post actions
Wow. THAT is not something you see everyday. Sorry I bet this is one of those "If I had a nickle for.." situations. I think the shot is amazing in its composition and color. Not to mention the unusual capture. 9
Post actions
I had to back up for a second look here...a true calling of nature! :-) Love the sharpness and the coincidental capture!
Post actions
There are a lot of "good" shots in this competition. This is one of the few "great" shots that really makes me say "wow". 9.

It just doesn't get any better than this!! 10

talk about a decisive moment!
Post actions
Now *that* is something you don't see every day!!
Post actions
The is a wonderful shot, great timing on a very fast little bird. 10
Post actions
Now, that's amazing! This little guy is hard enough to catch but to catch him in this situation is short of a miracle!
Post actions
Oh My God! Knowing how hard it is just to get a clear shot of hummingbirds. . . and on top of it to catch her peeing. You get a 10 from me. If I could double it I would. BOL
Post actions
Very cute! It's something different to see a hummingbird going pee! Nicely caught.
Post actions
Can't always choose your moment, but this one is unique!
Post actions
What a shot! Now that's luck!
Post actions
Oh, I remember this one! One of the great spontaneous captures of all time. A little blah color-wise, but jaysus...
Post actions
Making room for the next meal I guess? Regardless...this is a great shot of nature in action. Vivid color, great detail..nice "stop action". Love this shot.
Post actions
stunning capture. I can't fault it.
Post actions
I'm sorry, a pissing hummingbird - this just HAS to score well! Hilarious!
Post actions
