I agree with mud & Angel - this shot clearly has a lot of potential. I really like the lines & composition. It just needs that extra little bit of pizzazz to bring everything together with depth. I think the idea of burning/dodging & draganizer is a good way to go here. Good eye for spotting this.

Agreement with mud puddle. Really feels like there is some texture in this shot calling out for recognition. Another thought I had would be a Joey Lawrence type of draganizer (sp?) effect added to it.

It looks like there could be a variety of textures in this shot that don't necessarily come out in this shot. You might want to try it at a different time of day to get some different lighting and bring out that contrast of textures.

The composition is interesting and draws the viewer's eye, more texture might keep the viewer looking. I also like the sepia tone it really helos create some emotion.
