this one makes me smile…
unconditional love
bundled up in a short, stubby body
with an innocent face
silly… like a child.
Excitement when he sees me…
bounding and jumping enthusiastically around the room
(you’re here! you’re here! you’re here!)
until I sit down so he can leap into my lap
to shower me with warm wet kisses
and nibble on my ears
to tell me that he loves me…
I laugh and say “I love you too”
He knows…
A sweet sensitive boy
this love of mine
he knows me well
and comforts me in his gentle way
when I am sick or feeling down
His greatest joy is to please me
and he proves this by posing patiently
when I need a model
for a photography challenge on DPC
a funny couch potato..
the years have made him so

Adorable pose - LOL What a cutie-pie! You just wanna reach out and snuggle him! Great focus & composition - good lighting control too (and that's not easy in snow!). Nice work.
