If the highlights were a bit less harsh I would have scored this higher. One of those patterns that looks like it's moving even though its not. I'm curious as to what this looks like in color too.
I like the ripples the snad makes, but you are missing a focal point. If there was an object, footprint, something more this would be an excellent photo.
Maybe a little better focus or sharping to bring out the shapes better. I would have shot from the other direction or at least brought the exposer to take out more of the whites.
A simple idea well executed. Even though this concept has been around since Ansel Adams..its alway a pleasure to see someone work with the idea and do it well :-D
