Maybe if this had been a plain patterned shirt? As it is the bubbles are competing with the plaid (black and white helps a bit but ultimately not enough for me).

Clever idea to shoot this in the wash! Very creative...I wouldn't have scored it highly if it was just the plaid shirt.
