A GriGri is used in wall-climbing and rope acrobatics- its the metal clamp that grips the ropes and stops you from slamming into the floor when you accidentally fall. I have always thought that this username and my own life were so terribly alike - being the girl who is always keeping family and friends from slamming into the ground at the last minute.... :)
If this does reasonably well (Wich, seeing as how NOBODY is going to know what a GriGri is - Idont expect it too...) I may post the outtakes... they are terribly funny of me haniging from the ceiling. LOL
I must admit, I did not know what a grigri was, and without knowing this image did not help me visualizze the username. Thank you for explaining in your comments box.
Technically:
Focus is nice and sharp. I like your choice of using black and white but it may be a tad too dark. Composition is strong. Overall a good shot.
A bit too dark overall for my personal tastes. The black especially around her tattoo makes her arm look somewhat physically distorted. I do like the composition however.
I usually love out of the box artsy shots, but this just isn't doing it for me. I like the use of negative space and the tattoo on the arm is cool, but maybe there just isn't enough to peak my interest (sigh). And so it goes...........................
