Hello. You made a nice rendition of "Kiwiness" and the voters liked it, giving you a very nice score.
The random composition of multiple kiwi halfs worked well for you and your choice of aperture and lighting gave each piece of fruit the needed roundness to make this image stand out.
While I realize that it is the fashion these days to emphasize a white background, I wonder if this image would have also been effective with an off-white background. The contrast seems just a touch harsh with the white against the soft greens and the lovely, rich browns.
I wish you continued success in DPC and will look forward to seeing more of your work.
great pic....but i find it a bit contrastysome of the detail in the skins and even the kiwi insides has been lost..maybe a different color background would have done the trick
