I like the starkness of this image. there is enough detail in the branches to make out what is happening yet there is also a sense of depth by the shadows and tonalities overall. I agree with teh left side being ta tad too dark though. This is a nice image that I'm sure you're proud of capturing ;)

This photo exemplifies how I feel every time I venture into your neck of the woods.
My eye is drawn to the branches on the lower/left side of the tree. Focusing on just those branches brings to mind the lightening storms that fire the sky in the springtime. Awe inspiring.
Nice photo to fit the user name you chose. Just a wee bit too contrasty for my tastes, the lower left portion of your photo looks too black to my untrained eyes, perhaps cutting back on the curves a bit would reduce that?
