I wanted to keep the color of the fish and use a background similar to its color and red always looks good to me ;)
Tried to keep the water clean of air bubbles, but couldn't get it right. the fish wasn't willing either to look in front, always fixed on one of the sides. oh well just keep waiting with your camera on
Edits:
cleaning up the air bubbles, some cloning on the edges of the glass, little blur on left bottom corner to get rid of white pixels.. burn on top and right, curves and leves to lighten the tail, resize and sharpen

Great way to end the year and start a new one. My pick for the Gold(Blue)in the Challenge but none-the-less, I guarantee you'll get 6000 plus, long views, within a week or two. Way to go.
Great image - during the challenge I suspected it might just be a cut out of a fish (I remember nico_blue winning another challenge with a shot of a fish jumping out of a wine glass in what really is a borderline copyright infringement) so I'm pleased to see that yours is a real fish. Fantastic effort - the lighting in particular is very professional.
The goldfish is a bit swamped by all the red... I think a colour that would have made the fish stand out more would have been better. otherwise I think its excellent!
imho this would work better with a color that would complement the orange of the fish.. something like yellow or blue.. and try less make-up next time lol...
Haha, don´t know why but I immediately thought of the user who calls himself "soup" and that is a compliment, he has some very good shots of glasses. Nicely done, everthing technical about it is good but just quite doesn´t hit the spot but still an 8 from me.
I am going to take a wild guess on this one, and I am betting whoever took this shot has ribboned once before for sure. Basic, and beautiful. In my top 5. Good Luck, and sorry for no critique, I cant come up with anything.
It's very cool but I find the background colour a little bit off. I like how the goldfish blends with the background and disslike it at the same time. :/
