This is a baby Chimpanzee at the Baltimore Zoo. He was behind glass so it was difficult to get a good sharp focus. I was able to adjust for some of the glare and lack of DOF by increasing the contrast, saturation and sharpness. I also used the burn tool to darken some areas on the left side of the picture where the glare was worse. Also some cloning was used to eliminate some non-critical disturbing elements. It was the look in his eyes and the human like lips that really grabbed me.

I love monkeys so much, my fav animal. He is adorable, I just wish he didnt blend in to the background so much and maybe you could play with the sharpness of the shot but otherwise a great picture!
Love the expression and general composition. The focus on the mouth is perfect but it would also be good to see that same very sharp focus on the eyes as well. That's only noticeable when you are looking for it so I think it's still a very good shot.
Cute expression but there are two things that make this shot pretty mediocre IMHO while it could have been great. 1. I dislike that the focus is on the mouth and not the eyes, also the eyes look somehow unnatural, did you do some spot editing on just the eyes? 2. The backround is just too dark for my taste, would much rather have seen something resembling his/her natural habitat as a backround. Other than that, pretty good.
K I'm just playing. nice portrait. the shallow DOF seems to make her eyes a little soft though. my only other complaintis how she *almost* blends with the background. It looks as though you've burned that background some...I'd have gone the other way - I'd have dodged it to separate her from it. anyway - just my opinion...no need to agree with it ;)
