Thanks for all the comments - this is my first entry and although I knew it wasn't a perfect shot (especially the focus on the boy at the right) it was my best capture of city "life". Will try and get my outtakes and see if anyone thinks those were better.
Wow , are they having fun, or what. This picture looks blurry in some spots, adn pixelated in others. Did you try to sharpen it? If so, it may be a hair too much, in my opinion. The boat motor (?) in the back ground looks a little out of place. :-)
Cute kids! blue/white stripped boy moved on you. Little girl in pink has edge lines around her face (nit, yes), that can be caused by oversharpening. Photo 9 City 9 total 9
Good shot! One of the things I like about this photo is that the camera is on the level of the children. So many people stand up and point their camera down at kids all the time... Being on the level of the children gives a much better image, in my opinion. The balloons also offer a nice touch of 'fun' to this photo :) I'll have to admit that the boat motor looks a little out of place :)) Nice! = 7 - jmsetzler
Looks like the focus was placed on the left side of the photo and it blurred out the cute kid on the right. I think a second or third take may have grabbed a better shot.
it looks like you had some sort of file problems cause I see some weird pixelezation in the image. Good capture of the expression on the boys face. I understand why you may have wanted a bunch of people in the picture but it would have been better if you would have gotten closer to the boy and filled the frame with his face and the fountain.
Nice! Colors blend well and there are several strong lines. I know it's hard to avoid but the 3 "halfheads" (guy in red shirt to the right/ guy behind woman in center/ woman in yellow) hurt the shot. Also what IS that black plastic thing? Distracted me.
