This is shortly after race start when the sun was still high.
Shooting the cars at speed is tough to get the right combination of a clear car w/ a little blur to the wheels and background to give the sense of speed.
Since I am new to this camera, many of my race shots used the camera's settings so that I could concentrate on getting the cars in frame and clear. Next year I will work more on the right settings and better backgrounds.
