Terrific pun, terrific cat, good photography. Great score. What more could you ask!
Certainly this is an appealing image; one that sparked the interest of many voters, and rightly so. The cat's (pi**ed) expression was worth extra points right there.
With animals, you take what you can get, but this is a bit of a close crop on the top of that magnificent head of Netta's. I think you get away with it because of the great center of interest in Netta's eyes, and of course, the bald behind.
So, congratulations on a fine image and keep up the good work.
Sidesplitting. Good one. I love how cat's just seem to know that we are taking pictures of them. It's the only time they don't like being the center of attention.
Thanks for those that voted on my entry, and gave such great comments.
To all those that I didnt get to tell, No I didnt shave her for the challenge, just coincidence that its summer here, and she gets both too hot and too full of matts if she isnt shaved ... She is a much loved pet here and pretty much runs the household, or thinks she does.....She doesnt normally look so peeed off tho, I guess after a day of me following her around with a camera, she was getting annoyed, its her fault tho for being so damn fast and rarely ever sitting still for long
Ohhhhhhhhhhhwuhhhhhh. . .that poor kitty! I hoe you didn't do that to him just for the picture ?????? Tee hee. .. and he looks ticked off, doesn't he? I'm giving that poor fellow a vote of confidence by giving him a high score just for teh dignified way he is handling such indignities :) 8
Photographically, I'm not sure this will win, but for pure humor, this one is hands down the best. The cat's expression is probably like this all the time, but at least now there's a good reason for it. Very funny.
This is soooo funny. I almost choked when I saw it. That poor kitty. I hope you didn't shave him just for this challenge! I don't blame him for looking so mad! A less busy background would have worked better. And maybe more room over his head. The one ear touching the border doesn't work.
