Last minute picture.. was trying to make Low Key photo of the Binoculars, but I did not have any black background. So I used this idea insteed just for fun. Hope people will like it. Cross my fingers for 5

A very difficult photograph to take correctly. I think the idea is great, but the main problem with this is that the binoculars themselves are too dark. All the detail of this pair of B's (esp. because they are obviously used a lot) has been lost, which I think is why you didn't do better than you did (although 5.5 isn't a bad score at all)
The only decent advice I can give you is to make sure that your image is lit properly, and try to do your best to bring out all the characteristics of your subject.

excellent idea.. I am wishing that the B is a bit clearer. .. don't have a suggestion on how to make that happen. Also, a bit of reflected light across the top of the binoculars would improve the detail and depth (in the mid region). Looks like these binoculars have been thru the mil. Nice subject.
Very clever - I like this. Only probelm I have is that the front of the binoculars is just a little too black, so I don't see as much detail as I would like (probably because of the large dynamic range you've got with the white background?)
