 Well this is my first picture i submitted with my new Digital rebel and i just love this camera! But i havent gotten everything figured out yet so that is why it is lacking "something" I really wish i had a macro lens...

I'm guessing you were going for somebody half asleep... i'm guessing both you and the subject WERE half asleep! I like the focus, it's good, one thing you might want to change is the coloration. It's pretty orangish, and i'd like to see some more natural hues.

coming back to look at this one now i see major pixilation in the eye. Not sure why really... perhaps it was caused by the sharpening?

An especially nice macro shot when considred in conjuncture with the title and the challenge. The half awake eye is a compelling subject. Very nice and crisp image. 9

the eyes are not wide enough... your camera consentrated too much on the eyebro's theres no composition and your photograph doesnt say much about what the challenge asked for
